The Blue Highway Fest in Big Stone Gap, VA started in 2022. This part of Virginia has suffered greatly from the loss of coal mining jobs, one of the goals of Blue Highway Fest is to bring more vitality back to the region. The festival features the band Blue Highway Fest along with many other outstanding bluegrass artists and musicians.

There will be satellite shuttle pick up and drop off locations to and from the event.  The designated pick up/drop off shuttle locations are designated Mountain Empire Community College parking areas. Shuttle pick up/drop off location will be at 3441 Mountain Empire Road.

In addition, the field beside Burger King located at 900 Gilly Ave E. will be a designated pick up/drop off. Shuttles will be picking up and dropping off from these locations as well at Bullitt Park.
