Original Song

We are The Rice Sisters & Appalachian Skyline, a six-piece bluegrass band from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. With three sisters providing tight three part harmony alongside mandolin, banjo, guitar, and bass we blend traditional bluegrass, Appalachian music, gospel, and original songs. Our sound is rooted in the high lonesome tradition but we bring our own energy, personality, and modern touch to every performance. We love sharing the music of the mountains, telling stories through our songs, and keeping Appalachian bluegrass traditions alive while creating something uniquely our own.
