I think our style is unique because we all come from different backgrounds. Chris came from old style / bluegrass music scene and traveling with his grandad as a kid to festivals. Jason grew up on the new grass because his dad was into the Blue Highway style of music and traditional stuff. Grayson came from classical, country and deadhead style of music. Travis came from old style bluegrass and we all grew up in and around jams having to improvise and adapt all the time.
