The Blue Bridge Boys are a rising bluegrass, Americana, and folk band from Owensboro, Kentucky, home of the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum. The band’s name pays tribute to Owensboro’s iconic Blue Bridge.
The group features Cruse Edwards (15) on banjo and guitar; Parker Malone (14) on fiddle; Noah Mason (16) on bass; and Levi Hausner (15) on guitar, keys, and drums. Together, they blend the drive of bluegrass with the storytelling of Americana and folk, drawing inspiration from artists including Billy Strings, Ricky Skaggs, Earl Scruggs, Bob Dylan, and Alan Jackson while creating a sound rooted in the traditions of American roots music.
The traditions of bluegrass are more than an influence for The Blue Bridge Boys—they are part of their story. Cruse Edwards carries a family connection to the Carter Family through his great-grandmother Sylvia Carter and his grandfather’s first cousin, June Carter.
The Blue Bridge Boys have quickly gained recognition with performances at the White House, the Grand Ole Opry House, and the Earl Scruggs Music Festival, where they were named winners of the Battle of the Banjos. They were also selected for the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Kids on Bluegrass program, and their music has reached millions of listeners through a viral TikTok video with more than 12 million views.
